the Alamo

Remember The Alamo.

sure..... for school lately i've been reading about the alamo in texas history. And so i have to do a two-paragraph report on it. Yipee. :(

Ok umm... to start of it was an amazing fight on the Texans part. *yessss* Out numbered 5,000 to about two hundred the texans fought to the death. The Alamo went on for what i'm sure would have seemed like a life time and a half.

To quote travis 'God and Texas. victory or death.' With limited ammunition, the texans were deafeted. the texans had killed about 1,500 Mexicans and had lost all 182 of their men. That day the men defending the alamo earned the name the texan devils. Santa Anna went back to mexico and reported that he had won the war losing only 70 men. Whatever. Though Santa Anna had won the war he had been deafeted. He had lost way too many men for that small an area of land.
